Introduction of Customized 5U Telecom Rectifier Power Supply
The customized 5U telecom rectifier power supply is a flexible and scalable DC power platform, purpose‑engineered for telecommunications equipment that demands a reliable, noise‑free 48VDC supply. The system accepts a 380VAC three‑phase input via a rugged terminal block connection, which ensures balanced current draw across all three phases—minimizing grid imbalance and enabling higher overall power throughput compared to single‑phase alternatives.
Output power is fully configurable from 3kW to 18kW, allowing the system to be precisely matched to site requirements. An N+1 redundant rectifier architecture is supported, ensuring uninterrupted operation even during module maintenance or unexpected failures. Each of the hot‑swappable rectifier modules delivers 3000W at 96% peak efficiency, with a wide DC output adjustment range of –43V to –58VDC (nominal –53.5VDC) and a maximum per‑module current of 55A. All of this is housed in a compact 5U 19‑inch rack‑mountable enclosure, which offers a space‑efficient footprint without compromising power capacity—making it equally suitable for central offices, base stations, and distributed edge sites.
System management is handled by the MC2600 controller, which features an integrated LCD screen for convenient local monitoring and parameter configuration. The controller provides extensive I/O connectivity, including 3 analog inputs, 8 digital inputs, and 8 digital outputs for alarm signaling and external control. For remote supervision and integration into existing network operations centers, the system is equipped with 1 LAN port and 1 RS485 communication port, supporting standard protocols for seamless upstream data reporting and remote management.
